Hajia Sefi’s Continued Commitment to Kogi’s Elderly
Hajia Sefi, the First Lady of Kogi State, recently made significant strides in her ongoing efforts to improve the lives of the state’s elderly population.
Following a heartwarming homecoming event at the Kogi Central Palace, she further demonstrated her dedication by disbursing a substantial sum of 50 million Naira to 250 elderly men and women. This generous act was part of the second edition of the Renewed Hope Initiative Elderly Support Scheme (RHIESS). The event, themed “Special Investment Programme,” took place at the Government House Banquet Hall.
The initiative underscores the importance of prioritizing the welfare and well-being of the elderly, who remain the invaluable backbone of families, society, and the state.
The media unit person of the Hajia Sefi Foundation, led by Comr. Muazu Mamman who doubles as the advocates for the welfare of the elderly of the AGE NIGERIA initiative expressed their admiration for Her Excellency’s compassionate initiative. They also extended their gratitude to Senator Oluremi Tinubu for championing this cause.
