In alignment with the *New Direction* agenda of Kogi State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's *Renewed Hope* vision, Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman has taken proactive measures to address the immediate challenges posed by the removal of fuel subsidies. Recognizing the urgent need for solutions to mitigate its impact, the governor has launched a transportation palliative program as part of his administration's people-centered policies.  

This initiative, implemented under no time will aims to ease the burden of transportation costs for residents. The palliative program underscores Governor Ododo’s commitment to alleviating hardship while fostering development in key sectors.  

Furthermore, the administration plans to replicate this intervention across other sectors and service areas. These efforts are designed to create a ripple effect that improves the quality of life for the people of Kogi State, aligning with the broader vision of sustainable growth and equity as envisioned by the Renewed Hope agenda.
