Early Life and Education
Bello was born in Okene, Kogi State, and studied accounting and business administration at Ahmadu Bello University ². He began his career in the mid-2000s and later obtained an MBA.
Rise to Politics
Bello's political journey started with a loss to Abubakar Audu in the APC gubernatorial primary in 2015. However, after Audu's sudden death, Bello replaced him as the party's nominee and won the election . He was re-elected in 2019, defeating PDP nominee Musa Wada by over 200,000 votes.
