The Hajia Sefi Foundation (HSF) recently hosted a heartfelt thanksgiving prayers session to celebrate Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's one-year anniversary in office. 

The event, held at the paternal family house of Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo in Oroeru Compound, Idoji, brought together dignitaries from the APC, including stalwarts from Idoji and Onumoko.

During the ceremony, special prayers were offered for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, former Governor Yahaya Bello, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, as well as the entire APC supporters. 

The gathering emphasized the governor's unprecedented achievements over the past year and prayed for continued guidance and wisdom.

The event was a testament to the strong bond between the governor's family and the people of Kogi State, as well as the foundation's commitment to promoting unity and prosperity.

The Hajia Sefi Foundation (HSF) has announced plans to organize a special prayer session in honor of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration as it marks its one-year anniversary on January 27, 2025. The prayer event, scheduled for January 30, 2025, will take place at the family residence of Her Excellency, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, the Matriarch and First Lady of the State.

The prayer session is centered on thanksgiving for the achievements recorded so far under Governor Ododo’s leadership and seeking divine grace to continue consolidating the successes of the previous administration led by Governor Yahaya Bello.

During a press briefing, the Chairman of the Hajia Sefi Foundation, Mallam Muftau Abubakar, expressed the team's satisfaction with the administration's accomplishments within its first year. He emphasized that the event would also serve as a platform to celebrate Governor Ododo’s exemplary leadership and pray for continued progress and prosperity for the state.

The foundation invites well-wishers, stakeholders, and citizens to join in this moment of gratitude and collective hope for a brighter future.

Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, has signed into law the 2025 appropriation bill, totaling N582.4 billion. This significant move is expected to pave the way for the implementation of the state's budget, focusing on the welfare of staff, women, children, infrastructure, investment, and people-oriented projects.

The budget estimate represents a substantial commitment to driving growth and development in the state.

Ododo distributes cheques of 8billion to Beneficiaries

 Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has launched the second tranche of the ACReSAL/World Bank Community Revolving Fund, benefiting 2,381 direct beneficiaries across 170 groups of farmers in 80 communities. This initiative, worth N3 billion, aims to improve food security through a free interest loan system .

The Community Revolving Fund is part of the Agro-climate Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project, which focuses on mitigating climate change impacts and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. This program prioritizes women, with 70% of the beneficiaries being female .

Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that it aligns with his administration's drive for food security and sustainable agriculture. He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds judiciously, ensuring broader community benefits ¹.

The State Coordinator of ACReSAL, Barrister Ladi Ahmed Jatto, commended the governor for his commitment to the project's succes.

This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and the state's agricultural sector as a whole. By providing access to funding, the Kogi State government is empowering farmers to improve their productivity and contribute to the state's food security
